OUR STORY

How Alpha started

Alpha began in 1964 when 30 founding members bought a Cessna 172. In the 1980s, the group grew to over 90 members and four aircraft.

Today, we fly a Piper Archer II VH-KTN and a Piper Saratoga SP VH-OAZ.

Alpha is owned by its members through company shares. The aircraft are for members’ use, rather than public hire.

Our base is Hangar 663, 16 Drover Road at Bankstown Airport, Sydney NSW 2200. Call or email to arrange a visit.
